A refined and innovative design
Signing a new visual identity, the 40 asserts its extraordinary personality at first glance. Although faithful to its Lagoon DNA, it nevertheless adopts a new style: a design with an autonomous, clear and accomplished theme that showcases its large windows and its gaze towards the outside, to form a refined and efficient whole. This is evidenced by this chamfer starting from the stern to the bow of the boat. A new generation Lagoon, identifiable at first sight.
Outside: space and comfort
A comfortable cockpit, open to the sea: a dining table on the port side that can accommodate up to twelve guests, a relaxation area on the same side and a seat on the aft beam.
An ergonomic helm station accessible from the cockpit or deck ensuring continuous communication between the skipper and his crew.
Wide rear skirts with a large bathing area for easy and safe access to the tender and boarding.
A fitted forward cockpit with sunbathing area offering an additional living area.
A new generation rigging: performance and ease of use
Symbol of a new generation of Lagoon, the 40 is equipped with increased performance: a VPLP hull and an increased sail plan ensure a better sail area / displacement ratio and make it a fast and marine boat. The choice to move the mast back, directly from VPLP's experience in competition, has many advantages on this catamaran:
- A self-steering jib to facilitate manoeuvres,
- A large front triangle for a wider choice of downwind sails: a guarantee of performance,
- A shorter boom makes manoeuvring much easier,
- A mainsail, with a strong aspect ratio, allowing you to take advantage of less disturbed air in the tops for a real gain in performance,
