LAGOON 46
A SPACE OF FREEDOM
The 46 reinforces the fundamentals that have made the brand a reference in hedonistic and generous pleasure boating: freedom and boldness, a gentle way of life and innovations, all of which come together in a style that Patrick le Quément has strengthened and harmonised with the new births.
On the outside
VPLP design has been able to renew the balance between the different living areas.
The 46 combines modular cockpits at the front and rear, a complete kitchen area at the rear, an obvious and secure access to the sea, while keeping large volumes in the saloon so that Nauta Design can fully express itself.
The Flybridge, with its double access, is dedicated to both manoeuvring and relaxation. The central steering station offers both protection and visibility. For more comfort, different sun protection products are available: a folding convertible or a rigid bimini.
On catamarans of this size, the tender lowering system is usually simple. On the 46 it is possible to opt for a classic davit or an electric tenderlift platform. This platform offers a new living space at the rear of the boat while facilitating access to the water.
Inside the house
Signed Nauta Design, the interior adopts a refined, elegant and functional style.
The owner's areas are generous and equipped with an island bed for optimal comfort.
The other cabins also adopt impressive volumes, particularly the forward cabin, whose bed is no match for that of the aft cabins.
The emphasis has been placed on neat finishes and interior brightness to improve the quality of life on board. The connection between the front cockpit and the saloon is made possible by retractable glazing that provides a feeling of borderless space and excellent ventilation.
A serene and pleasant navigation
The 46 is a high-performance, seaworthy boat. Representative of the new Lagoon DNA, he proposes:
- an increased sail plan for a better sail area / displacement ratio
- a remote mast, directly from the VPLP design competition experience, for more launches
- in addition to a shorter boom and a self-steering jib, the 46 offers an electric flat winder for the mainsail carriage.
- a large front triangle for a wider choice of front sails and more efficiency
